Михаил, русские приветствуют Вас! Это, собственно, больше даже, чем они могли рассчитывать. 🙂
Eu sempre te admirei em tudo que você fez e faz. Sua sensibilidade e solidariedade são fantásticas.
I love you more and more.
My whole life I have lived under the premise of fear. Fear is the opposite of love. To love is to look outward and help others – including and especially those we may not understand. To love goes against the tendency to destroy what we cannot comprehend. Since “coming out”, I have faced fear directly and it is liberating to allow myself to just be. At the same time, it is important for the gay community – or any minority – to remember that true diversity includes all people: gay and straight, black and white, old and young, and so on. It takes effort to think outside ourselves, but that is what we need to do on a daily basis. It has been said that one day we will look back on gay rights, as we have on civil rights, and say “we were so stupid then!” It really should be a non-issue. But until then, let us seek to enlighten ourselves on the reality that we enjoy life together not divided.
No one should have to live in fear of being who or what they are.
